Refund policy

Scope
This policy applies to paid purchases on PhotoID AI for AI ID-style headshot generation (generation credits and unlocking a watermark-free download of the image you already generated). It does not replace mandatory consumer rights in your country or region.
What you purchase
We sell access to a digital service. After successful payment through PayPal, we may (a) unlock your current watermarked preview for download without watermark, and (b) add credits to your account for future generations, as shown at checkout. Delivery is electronic and begins once our systems confirm payment and update your account.
General rule
Because our product is delivered digitally and each generation incurs cost, fees are generally non-refundable once the purchased benefit has been supplied—meaning credits have been added to your account and/or the current image has been unlocked for download without watermark—unless an exception below applies.
If your region gives a statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts for digital content, you may need to expressly agree to immediate delivery before performance begins; where required, we will ask for that consent at checkout. If you are entitled to withdraw and you have not yet received the purchased benefit, we will comply with applicable law.
When we refund or credit
We will refund to your original payment method or, at our option, grant equivalent account credit if:
• Payment was captured but credits were not added or your current image was not unlocked after a reasonable time, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable period.
• You were charged twice for the same purchase.
• A clear technical failure on our side prevented delivery of what you paid for, and we cannot restore access.
We may ask for a transaction ID and time of purchase to verify your claim.
When we do not refund
We do not refund because you:
• Dislike the AI output when the service successfully produced and delivered an image, or prefer a different style or look.
• Have already used part or all of your purchased credits.
• Violated our Terms of service. We may refuse or revoke access in those cases.
• Opened a PayPal dispute or bank chargeback before contacting us and giving us a reasonable chance to fix the issue, except where we failed to respond.
How to request
Email us using the address below with your PayPal transaction ID, approximate time of purchase, and the email you use to sign in. We aim to respond within a few business days. Eligible refunds are processed through PayPal when possible; timing may depend on PayPal or your bank.
PayPal disputes
Please contact our support before opening a PayPal dispute or claim so we can review your account and correct genuine errors. If you dispute without contacting us first and we have already delivered the purchased benefit, we may provide PayPal with evidence of delivery.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we publish a new version. If changes are material, we will provide notice if required by law.
